Eesha Sharma is a consumer psychologist who explores the science behind people’s judgments, decisions, and behaviors. Her expertise lies at the intersection of psychology, marketing, economics, and finance and most often applies to people’s consumption, financial, and charitable decisions. She is particularly interested in how psychology and marketing can be used to understand and improve consumer decision making and well-being. Eesha received her Ph.D. in marketing and a B.Sc. degree in finance and marketing from NYU’s Stern School of Business. She was named one of the world’s “Best 40 under 40” business school professors in 2017, and her award-winning research is published in top-tier academic journals, featured in numerous media outlets, and taught in universities around the world.
